2. Who can use BreezThru?

BreezThru is intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to create or use BreezThru accounts. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@breezthru.co.

You may choose to enter information about other people or organisations, including contact details. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide such information. We process it only to provide the service you request.

5. Why do we use your information?

We only use the Meta Pixel where you have opted in to marketing cookies. We do not otherwise use your personal information for targeted advertising.

6. AI features

BreezThru uses third-party artificial intelligence services to provide certain features. Depending on the feature you use, information such as target details, research text or draft documents may be sent to an AI provider so the feature can operate.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not professional, legal or financial advice. We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models.

7. Who do we share your information with?

We use selected third-party service providers to operate BreezThru, including cloud hosting and storage providers, AI and large-language-model providers, and error-monitoring providers. These providers process information on our behalf or provide the infrastructure needed for particular features.

Where you consent to marketing cookies, limited information about your visit is also sent to Meta Platforms, Inc. through the Meta Pixel, as described in section 15.

We do not sell your personal information.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers and infrastructure may be located outside the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal information outside the UK, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards where required by applicable data protection law.

9. How long do we keep your information?

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including while you maintain an active BreezThru account.

We may retain information for longer where necessary for legal or regulatory obligations, establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, security and fraud prevention, or maintaining limited backup or disaster-recovery copies.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting info@breezthru.co.

10. Backups and technical records

For security, disaster recovery and operational purposes, some information may temporarily remain in system backups or technical records after deletion. Backups are retained for a limited period and are not used as an active copy of your account.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These include, where appropriate: encryption of data, encryption of communications using HTTPS/TLS, password hashing, access controls, restricted access to production systems, and backups and disaster-recovery measures.

No internet service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure.

12. Personal data breaches

If we become aware of a personal data breach, we will assess it and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law, including notifying the Information Commissioner's Office and affected individuals where required.

13. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights including:

  • Access — to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Rectification — to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Erasure — to ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Restriction — to ask us to restrict how we process your information in certain circumstances.
  • Data portability — to receive certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interests in certain circumstances.
  • Withdrawal of consent — where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise a right, contact info@breezthru.co. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and we will normally respond within one month.

14. Automated decision-making

BreezThru uses AI to assist with research and drafting. These outputs are intended to support human decision-making and are not used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

15. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate BreezThru.

Necessary cookies

These are essential for BreezThru to work — for example, keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences and storing your cookie choices. They are always active and do not require consent.

Optional cookies

We also offer optional cookies in two categories. We only set these after you consent, using the cookie banner.

  • Analytics cookies — used to understand how people use BreezThru so we can improve the service.
  • Marketing cookies — these include the Meta Pixel. When you consent, we load Meta's pixel, which sends limited information about your visit (such as the pages you view and actions you take, together with information about your browser and device) to Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta may use this information to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you BreezThru ads on its products, such as Facebook and Instagram.

You can choose which optional categories to allow, and change or withdraw your choice at any time, using the cookie preferences button on our site. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work correctly if you disable necessary cookies.

16. Your information and other people

You may provide information about other companies or people, such as contact details. Please ensure you have the right to provide that information and avoid including unnecessary personal information about others.

17. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we use your personal information, please contact us first at info@breezthru.co.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at https://ico.org.uk/.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to BreezThru, our services, our providers or applicable law. The latest version will be made available through BreezThru or our website.
